Okay Everyone, I have some exciting news! Montreal travel agencies have finally come-up with their list of hot destinations for 2009!
I just happened to stumble upon it as I was reading a local news paper, Le Journal de Montreal and thought that I would share the results with you guys.
Usually, these destinations also tend to be the cheapest because they are in such big demand and although the list has been compiled by Montreal travel agents, it is still relevant to travelers from all over the world.
Along with the destinations, I provide a link to the places in question so that you can read-up on them and decide which locations interest you the most. So here they are, the top 10 destinations of 2009!
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Puerto Plata,Dominican Republic
- Riviera Nayarit, Mexico
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
- Cancun, Mexico
- Acapulco, Mexico
- Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba
- Holguin, Cuba
- St-Martin Island
- Costa Rica
This is my favorite destination! Punta Cana is known for it's beautiful beaches and white sands. A breathtaking destination at affordable prices! Check-out my post on Punta Cana for more info.
Puerto Plata is located on the Atlantic side of the ocean and not the Caribbean therefore the sand is golden instead of white but the weather is fantastic!
Again, on the Atlantic but also nice and hot year-round!
This is an excellent destination for those with big budgets...lots to offer for those who can afford it!
Cancun is not only party central but it boasts some of the most beautiful beaches! Most suitable for younger travelers.
Again, great destination for the wallet holders...it's an expensive option but one that is guranteed not to disappoint.
Cuba is a chaep travelers' best friend! Great beaches, hot and sunny almost year-round and cheap, cheap, cheap!
This destination is a little like Cancun, lots to offer but mostly for young travelers.
Okay, this is not a cheap destination in fact it's extremely expensive but totally worth the huge chunk of cash!
This is a great destination for nature lovers....lots to offer but again, a little pricey!
I hope this list can be useful to you and remember, keep on dreaming!!
